Satellite Academy Tournament – Saturday 7th May 2016

19 girls took part in this years tournament, the tournament was hosted by Norfolk County Netball at the UEA Sports park in Norfolk.

The tournament is an opportunity for the girls show off their skills they have developed over the year and to meet and play against other counties.

The format for this years tournament was different from previous years, where the girls were mixed into teams from different counties. The two Beds teams were made up of a mixture of the two satellite academies, both teams bonded well and played some excellent netball during the course of the tournament. Both the teams finished mid table in their respective cup and plate groups.

Izzy Clarke and Bobbie Butler were awarded tournament players for their teams by England Sam Mead.

With thanks to the organisers, coaches and parents for making his a successful and enjoyable day for the players.
