Satellite Academy Tournament

Bedfordshire hosted the first satellite academy tournament of the season! With 15 teams from the 6 counties in the East attended.

The weather was windy and a little cold but no rain so we were very pleased.  All the girls enjoyed some great match play and the visit from benecosMavericks Miranda and Sachel Grant, Mavericks Performance Pathway Head Coach.  

The SA Academy Counties finished in the following positions:

Herts 1st, 2nd 
Suffolk 3rd, 10th 
Essex   4th 
Cambs 5th, 7th, 11th, 14th 
Beds     6th, 8th, 9th, 12th 
Norfolk 13th, 15th 

Thanks goes out to Cathie Carter, Alison Brightman and Jackie Stigwood for their help with organising and running the tournament and all the coaches officials and parents for making this day possible for the girls. 

* Next SA tournament is on 17th February 2018, at Ipswich school sports centre in Rushmere, Ipswich.
